Marguerite Tremblay
Founder and editorial director
Marguerite spent twelve years in traditional publishing before founding Radiant Bookcraft. She has edited over 200 titles and specialises in literary fiction and memoir.
Radiant Bookcraft was founded in 2016 by Marguerite Tremblay, a former acquisitions editor at a major Canadian publishing house who saw a growing gap between the manuscripts authors were writing and the professional support available to bring those manuscripts to market. Too many talented writers were self-publishing without the editorial rigour and design polish that readers expect — and too many were paying for services that delivered mediocre results.
Marguerite assembled a small team of editors and designers who shared her conviction that independent authors deserve the same calibre of editorial and production support that traditional publishers provide. What started as a two-person operation in a shared office in Laval has grown into a twelve-person studio that has worked on more than 600 titles across fiction, non-fiction, memoir, and children's literature.
Today, Radiant Bookcraft serves authors across Canada and internationally, from first-time novelists to established thought leaders. Our headquarters remain in Laval, Quebec, at 4748 Wunsch Camp, H7A 0A1 Laval, Quebec, Canada, but our team works with authors wherever they are — in person, over video, and through our collaborative project portal.
Our mission is simple: to help every author produce a book they are genuinely proud of — one that meets professional standards, resonates with readers, and stands the test of time. We believe the world needs more good books, and we believe every author deserves a partner who cares as deeply about their story as they do.
We never rush quality. Every edit, every design decision, and every publishing recommendation is made with care and intention. We would rather take an extra week than deliver work that falls short of our standards — or yours.
Your book is your vision. We are here to refine, elevate, and polish — never to overwrite or impose. We listen before we suggest, and we always explain the reasoning behind our recommendations so you can make informed decisions.
No hidden fees, no vague timelines, no black-box processes. From your first discovery call to your final proof approval, you will always know what is happening, what it costs, and when it will be done.
We champion diverse voices and underrepresented perspectives. Our editorial team includes sensitivity readers and cultural consultants who help ensure your book reaches its audience with authenticity and respect.
Our team combines decades of publishing industry experience with a genuine passion for the written word. Here are some of the people who may work on your project.
